I definitely took the summer off from the blog...We had a good summer and it was nice to spend time with family. She had her first trip to 7 peaks, the zoo, and we even went river rafting in Wyoming. I honestly can't believe it is fall with only one week left in September. Time is flying by!
We are just back to our normal routine. Chesney is still such a cutie & keeps us on our toes:-)
We took a drive up the mountain this evening to see the changing leaves & got a few cute pics of this sweetheart...
She is a very busy 2 year old...Here are a few fun things that have been going on with her:
She is growing like crazy! I feel like she is getting so tall & losing that baby look.
Her hair is so long & has a cute natural curl...she wakes up looking like a beauty queen...Lucky girl!!
She is learning her ABC's & will point out letters...her favorites to mention are A, B, C, E, O, X, Y.
She still loves to count & is up to 13.
She will tell us what sounds the animal make, but she has to be in the mood.
She still speaks her Chesney language...she is working with the speech therapy ladies twice a month, but I kinda feel like she just does stuff on her own time. They have great suggestions & she like to play with them when they come over.
She is doing so good in nursery & at the sitters. She pretty much just walks in & tells me bye!
She is in a toddler bed now:-( Sad day! Bode was watching her one day & left his phone on the dresser in her room...he went back to check on her & she had climbed out & back in her crib & was just watching Mickey...the little stinker!
It is pretty dramatic to put her to bed now:-( She can't turn door knobs, so she is stuck in there & pretty much cries herself to sleep. Hopefully it will get better.
Her recent toddler escapade was coloring my couch with a blue sharpie {Bode was suppose to be watching her...he was sitting on the couch on his phone, totally oblivious haha} Thank goodness it came out with rubbing alcohol & magic erasers!
She has a love/hate relationship with the dogs & well they are pretty much afraid of her... unless she has food.
Her current favorite movies are Tangled & The Lorax.
I just had to put his picture up...it is our fall picture from last year...its crazy how much difference a year makes! {Ha she had like no hair last year}

Seeing that picture of Chesney last year and seeing all her pretty hair now gives me hope that one day Elle might have long pretty hair too.
