9 Months!

This cute angel is 9 months old! She absolutely loves bath time! Here are a few cute pictures I took of her the other night.

She is just popping out teeth everywhere! Her two front teeth have broke thru....our nursing days are numbered ha ha!

She is a cherrio monster...she loves them!

She has been so cute playing with her toys the last few days. I posted a video on facebook of her "reading" one of her books....she has been doing it quite often and it is so cute.

This girl is never going to crawl:) ha ha which is fine....she definitely is not breaking any records around here. She is just a content little thing.

We feel like she is getting a little skinnier those little rolls are getting smaller and that belly isn't quite as jelly-licous:( We love her chunk!

She went to her first birthday party the other day...my nephews have turned two! Anyways Karston got a swing set and we discovered that this little girl likes to swing. It is so cute & it will be so fun as the weather gets better to get her out more.

I just want to take a minute to say how much I have loved being a mom, even on those hard days when all I want to do is sleep from working all night & she just wants to play with me. It seems like lately there have been some of those sad situations where babies have been going back to heaven & I can't imagine being in those mom's shoes....it just makes me heart hurt. It just makes me so grateful that I have her here in my arms and that I can cherish all these little moment with her.

This last picture is my attempt to take a picture of her eyelashes..."look at those eyelashes" is probably the number one comment I hear from people when they see her....I'm so jealous:)

She goes to the doctor this week so I will update on her stats soon:)

8 Months...

Well our baby is getting so big & old! I can’t believe she is already 8 months! She has been so fun and getting quite the personality. Here are a few things about her:
She is a very scheduled little thing…if you stay to her schedule we have a pretty good day.
She is a champ at eating solids; we have oatmeal with fruit in the morning & oatmeal with veggies at night, also she like her multivitamin, but eww…that stuff smells horrid! We also are having one serving of formula a day, I seriously can’t believe I have made it almost nine months nursing, I’m super proud of us! We really only nurse maybe once or twice a day and then I pump the other times, cus this baby has some sharp teeth & likes to practice biting {ouch!!} ….so far the solids we have tried:
Green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, corn, apple sauce {which is her fav!}, pears, peaches, bananas…she also eats the baby puffs, yogurt bites, and rice ruscks {another fav!}….and every once in awhile we sneak her a bite of whatever we are eating. So far everything has agreed with her, but she definitely knows what she likes best!
She has the two bottom teeth, but the top teeth are on their way...poor babe teething seems very uncomfortable!
On most days she takes two naps, and naps best in her crib.
She has been waking up about once a night, but we have been tough parents and let her cry it out and fall back asleep. {Most of the time Bode takes his phone in there to play her some tunes and she goes back to sleep} We got her an Idog for v-day, so she can have her own little music player.
Still no crawling, but she does roll around to get to places now, and will hang out on her belly for a little bit before flipping over. She still does her back scooting as well.
She is quite the talker and screamer!! Especially at church ha ha! When there is a quiet moment {like a prayer} she thinks that means it time for her to talk…we hang out in the hallway quite a bit:)
She is so much fun & I am already getting excited for her 1st birthday…party plans are in the works! I just hope it doesn’t come too fast!
Bode & I are doing good just being boring and working….We are proud cus we overcame our first parenting challenge of both having the awful stomach plague & still taking care of the babe…thank goodness she didn’t get it….She has been quite the healthy little thing (knock on wood), I guess that breastfeeding immunity thing is no lie! Here are some super cute pics of our girl…

Happy December....We have had a really fun month:) We started off the month going up north to see the christmas lights & going to ride the Polar Express.

These next picture need some explaining...Think Ugly Sweater Party:) We had a fun time with friends (we had more peopel come then pictured...but I think these are the only ones that blog) & had a ugly party...I think we all fit the part pretty well...It was fun to have Heather & TJ in town...we can't wait for them to get out of Oregon! Bode won the ugliest sweater contest.... I think Jimmy got well....lets say the most creative white elephant gift:)

We spent christmas morning at home...Chesney was super fun....She had no idea why we were having such a fun morning...She liked to help open present & she smiled at all of her gifts...She was super cute:)

She got lots of toys & clothes from Mom & Dad....a walker, ring stacker, cellphone, new blanket & lots of books:) I would say a very successful christmas!

She is growing up so fast...I know it hasn't even been a month since I posted her 6 months old post, but already she has changed so much!

She still hates her belly, so I don't think she will crawl anytime soon.

She is a back scooter...she just pushes her legs and scoots around on her back...she isn't going to have any hair on the back of her head if she keeps this up...I think this is her alternative to crawling. She can make it pretty far depending on how back she wants what she is scooting towards.

She has TWO teeth!! Her front two bottom teeth... I can't believe it, they seriously came out of nowhere...we didn't even realize she was cutting teeth...ha ha we are observant parents:)

We have started her on oatmeal & veggies...so far she has only had sweet potatoes, but she seems to like them.

Well here is a mini update on her...I hope everyone has had as much fun as we had this holiday season:)
